Taking place every 2nd weekend in September in downtown St. Louis, this three-day festival invites you to savor a delectable experience. Admission to Taste of Black STL is FREE, featuring a diverse array of foods, retail delights, and informational vendors from the Midwest and beyond.

Since our establishment in 2018, Taste of Black STL has drawn over 100,000 attendees, showcased 250+ vendors, and generated substantial sales for participants. Our mission is to curate a vibrant African American Food Festival, offering a communal space for cultural exchange, education, and the joyous exploration of food.

Recognized in September 2021 with a Proclamation from Mayor Tishaura Jones, designating the 2nd week as "Taste of Black STL weekend," we've received resolutions and acknowledgments from the Missouri House of Representatives, State Representative Marlon Anderson, and, in 2023, the Board of Aldermen and Alderman Rasheen Aldridge. These recognitions underline Taste of Black STL as a cherished community staple and the perfect portal for small businesses into the hearts and tummies of our city year after year.
